Putting Customer Experience First

The Drive & Go app was designed and built to put the customer first. An easy to use availability engine, coupled to a finely tuned checkout funnel means frictionless sales and smooth customer onboarding. Saved bank cards and transparent pricing means no hidden fees and taking a deposit is a synch.

Self-Service Check In

Drive & Go offers a single, unified processes to check out your vehicle - revolutionising the process by putting the customer in charge. During this process customers can view existing damage on a schematic, add any unreported damage and confirm the odometer reading and fuel level. Once complete, they sign the rental agreement and the car key appears in the app, as if by magic.

Digital Vehicle Access Control

A cornerstone of the Drive & Go product is controlling access to the vehicle. This is achieved with the use of a clever box of tricks that is soft-wired into the vehicle. The Phone app uses Bluetooth Low Energy to talk to the vehicle and issue commands such as lock & unlock and enable or disable the immobiliser. We designed a unique and easy to use interface that provides the customer with complete control over the vehicle, or indeed multiple vehicles simultaneously.

More than an app

The Drive & Go app is supported by a bespoke back end platform that integrates with lots of providers for pricing, customer relationship management, realtime identity checks, marketing and the provisions of digital car keys.

The net result is a seamless experience that delights customers and gets them on the road quicker and stress free.

Building an Internal Dev Team

A key part of the Method & Class Product Development lifecycle is helping some clients to transition to their own internal development team. Having successfully built and launched the app, we then helped Green Motion to recruit their own internal development resource, allowing ongoing maintenance and feature development to be done in-house. This pragmatic approach allows our clients to get to market quickly, with all the right foundations and coding standards in place to then attract talent to building an internal tech team.
